  1. How do we access the free shows?

  2. Judith: Just press the On Demand (Blue-Star) Button on your Remote Control. Then select the Free Marathon folder. Then select the View-Now folder for Movies, or any TV Station folder (A&E, ABC, etc.) for TV Shows. I hope this helps you.

  3. How do we get to watch free movies I clicked on one but it still wants me to pay?

  4. Jay: Only the movies in the Free Marathon folder are free. Make sure you stay in that folder, and you won’t be charged. New movie releases and some other movies are not free.

  5. I don’t see any movies in the marathon folder.

  6. This is another fake “free marathon” from Verizon. Like last time, everything in the marathon folder IS ALREADY FREE, making this pointless.

  7. I got to where I’m supposed to go to get the free movies but every selection I clicked on to view came up as “Free with subscription”. That’s not free. I don’t wish to subscribe. Please explain the discrepancy. Am I doing something wrong?

  8. Gary & Bill: The free movies are in the (View-Now) folder, which is right next to the (Free Marathon-Trending Now) folder. Press the right arrow on your remote to move to the correct free movie folder. There are over 2,000 free movies in the (View-Now) folder. They might say “Free With Subscription”, but you can watch them for no charge during the marathon period. If you have any problems, you should call Verizon, and they can walk you through the steps. I hope this helps you guys.

  9. HBO IS ON PREVIEW FOR FIOS!

  10. Tried the free VOD and when I tried to view a channel I’m not subscribed to normally, it asks me to subscribe to watch. Ex. Axstv

  11. Do I need to call Verizon yo cancel my subscription after free marathon week if I click on “free with subscription”?

  12. yeah…none of the premium VOD’s that I’m not subbed to are allowing me to view any content.
    I’m a verizon subscriber.

  13. They do have a folder for those wondering, its not really easy to find though but ill try my best to guide you. When you click on the “free marathon” option in On Demand you will immediately see to your right a bunch of apps for different tv channels, etc.

The very first folder is titled “free marathon” and has a lot of movies listed in it. Keep in mind these are a lot of B and C grade movies although i have not looked at every single one but from first glance and scrolling nothing much to excited about.

But, they are in there so whether or not these include titles from channels such as Showtime, HBO, Starz, etc i do not know. It didnt seem like it unless i missed yet another folder for those specific channels.

  14. Premium channel on demand is available from April 10th to the 13th.

  15. It’s a joke..everything is already on demand..duh…but I don’t call it on demand I call it “get lucky’..shows are out of sequence..episodes are missing…sometimes the dates are wrong…my daughter has comcast…I watched there free on demand..everyting was on..game of thrones, banshee,and more…plus pbs..why dosen’t fios have pbs…

  16. HBO is working from 10 – 13, just click on the channels. Cinemax also. The others are not and it is pointless to go to the on demand portion because it isn’t loading.

  17. Premium channels in the Free Marathon folder are working. I just checked Epix, Starz and Showtime.
