One note: the U-verse free previews give you both SD and HD of the preview channels — even if you don’t have an HD package. This has been true in past previews.
I can confirm this. You can DVR the HD movies as well, and keep them.
Does anyone know when free preview for HBO is for new wave communications?
Hmm. The Uverse Message Center (on the Uverse Set-top box) doesn’t mention anything about a free preview. Is there any place on the uverse/at&t site that confirms this?

Will on Demand for HBO be available as well during free preview?
All HBO and Cinemax set-top box channels will be open on U-verse in addition to On Demand, Uverse.com, and the U-verse app platforms during the free preview.
Directv has stated to me that the free preview weekend of HBO and Cinemax can not be recorded anymore unless you subscribe. They have taken away the Ability to record the FREE preview weekends starting now.

It’s July 15 in both of my EST and CST. I’m not getting any of these channels yet. What time does the free preview begin?
Why now? Series premiere of Vice Principals. I expect another for the series premiere of West World in Oct.
