DirecTV is hoping to appease some of their customers over the Viacom pull-out by offering a free preview of the Encore channels, PBS Sprout, The Hube, TV One, and Fuse until July 31. You can read more about this here.

Directv is giving Encore for free during their dispute with Viacom. All Viacom channels have been removed
Too bad they don’t credit those of us who already have Encore, Fuse, and TV One. Losing all those channels is pretty frustrating.
There has been some reports that DIRECTV is giving away Starz free for 6 months and $10 credit for 12 months.
Called yesterday and got $15 off bill, $5 for 3 months.

Does this count Sundance? I somehow am able to watch this program right now with my basic package.
Viacom channels are back and Encore is still on? Hope it lasts till the 31st cos I have a few more Bond films to watch.
