Cox Communications will be having a free preview of HBO & Cinemax June 8-11. Since this corresponds with the premiere date of True Blood, I imagine that many of the other providers will follow suit.
It’s important to note that not all Cox Communications affiliates may carry this free preview and you need to contact your local affiliate to see if they’ll be offering it in your area.

Called my local Cox affiliate here in Las Vegas, they knew nothing about this. Wanted to know if “On Demand” will also be free preview. Sometimes they block it.

Been wondering if we should get HBo and Cinemax – Did not know of the free week-end until an hour ago. Sadly 3-4 hours will not be enough to make a decision. Wish I had known…
i really think if HBO Cinemax and Showtime wanted to seduce me into ordering their premium channels, then why not offer free weekends once a month?
