My question is, what channel on dish will the free starz be on. I am ready to watch, but dont know the channel.
Karla – This particular preview is for DirecTV only. There is one Dish Network preview going on now but it isn’t for Starz. You can sign up for the newsletter or RSS feed to be informed when Dish announces their next free preview.
At what time on Friday June 13, 2008 will the free preview begin?
Karl – There is no set time – it’s whenever they decide to “flip the switch.” You may want to start trying tonight, sometimes they turn it on early.
I keep hearing that you have free preview of various Movie Channels. The most recent say that from June 13 to 15, 2008 you will have stations 501 to 657 free to DirecTV patrons. Seems somebody is lying here….IS IT YOU?

I have bee trying for over a month to find out how much extra the Starz pkg
would cost me and exactly what I would get for that.
Also the second remote does not work unless you are standing right in front of the TV. I have called your help line and followed their insructions without results. They even sent me a new remote …Nothing has helped.

I just checked with a DirecTV subscriber and these channels are now live.
Sometimes they don’t show up in your channel guide so go to the Menu option, then Favorites, then choose All Channels.
By the way, I’m not at all affiliated with DirecTV so I can’t do anything with your issues. I’d call DirecTV if I were you.

Does anyone know exactly when it ends? would it be Sunday night at midnight?
Karen, it’s whenever they decide to turn them off. Usually it’s the last day of the free preview at midnight or a few hours after that.
do you have any ideal when the next free weekend will be for directv.

I see the free banner but when i click on it in the guide it says channel not purchased
How do you know if you have Cinemax and all those channels because i can watch them and i dont know if i have them or not, and will they show up on a list showing what movies you watched?
