You can catch a free preview of MLB Extra Innings starting April 7th and wrapping up April 14th. This free preview will be on Dish Network, DirecTV, and Verizon FIOS (also includes NHL Center Ice) but may be shown on other providers as well.

Well this preview not going to happen on those dates considering the league and players are still in a contract dispute and those games are cancelled. The earliest it could be is about 2 weeks later pending the agreement actually happening.
Well the league did finally reach an agreement and reset the season schedule. Based on the new season opening day the free preview should start Apr 7.

Verizon Fios has it, in my area the channels are 1461-1474 and they share the channels with the NHL. I guess because they share the channels, Fios ALSO has a Free View of the NHL Center Ice as well.
