There will be a free preview of HBO April 17th to April 20th on DirecTV, AT&T U-Verse, and AT&T TV.
The movie X-Men: Dark Phoenix has just premiered on HBO and would be a fun watch.

Received an email from DirecTV about this but just went onto the HBO channels to watch some ON-DEMAND shows and couldn’t RECORD or WATCH NOW any. Just called DirecTV and they told me that the only “free preview” is of shows currently being shown per their schedule — there’s no ON-DEMAND available for this offer. Terrible “free” offer — poor and repeated shows on HBO over this “free” weekend. Boo!
Dark Phoenix might be fun to watch, but there are no showings of that movie on HBO during the free preview and it’s not available through the on-demand library. The next showing is on April 27. Must be a coincidence that it wasn’t available this weekend, right.
Also disappointing that “His Dark Design” is also unavailable. At least Westworld is available in schedule and on demand (on U-Verse).
I thought this free weekend was for comcast subscribers as well. But when I put on HBO, it just says I need to subscribe. So confused.
