HBO GO is usually also free during free preview events. So you can catch every episode of Game of Thrones, True Detective, etc. if you have the time to watch them all.
If I have a verizon cell phone can I get cheaper cable TV if I want cable through version ?

Also a Free ON DEMAND marathon on Verizon FIOS from Oct 16 thru the 26th. Apparently ALL Premium Channels Series On Demand will be free for Oct 16 to 19th as well.

The last 2 preview weekends, Fios guide indicates free weekend, but when we tune to HBO and Cinemax it tells us we don’t subscribe and to push OK to subscribe. Any one have any suggestions, besides calling Fios customer service?!
@Jenn: I did call Fios, twice, regarding this. Both people (cs and tech) I spoke with didn’t even know about this promo! Bottom line is, if you’re not subscribed to whatever channel you want to view, you’re not going to see anything new. They basically want you to order more packages/channels when they do this. I guess I’ll look online for my FREE movie/series needs, there’s plenty.
Verizon says FREE On Demand movies. I DONT SEE ANY FREE MOVIES! This is a set-up!
Be careful using free previews. After watching the so called free preview I was billed for HBO. I had to call and cancel it.
