Verizon FIOS will be having a free preview of Showtime starting March 25 and ending on March 28. The Showtime HD channels will be available as well for this free preview.
Showtime seems to be having quite the free preview at the end of March. Free previews of Showtime for Charter Communications, DirecTV and Time Warner Cable have been scheduled as well.

How can I view the Free Preview. It is Thursday 25 April 2010 @ 7:30 am and all my Showtime channels are blank. Is there a special FiOS channel (or channels) set aside with Showtime programming?
Not working for me on FIOS @ 10:40am.
FIOS tech support couldn’t help – told me they don’t know what ‘time’ it will start.

It’s 2:00 PM PST and no Showtime preview. This is bogus. If it begins in the evening, it would be helpful to know that ahead of time.
The freeview is only for video on demand. Not the actual channels itself.That’s the way it seems to be for me anyway.
Yeah, typical Verizon – goes to show nothing is free and I’ll be changing to another provider as soon as I can – their free on demand movies are junk that no-one wants to watch!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like Verizon might just be offering just the Showtime On Demand channels.
All – The Verizon FiOS Free Showtime Preveiw begins 3/26/2010 12:01am, and ends 3/28/2010 11:59:19pm. It does not begin on 3/25. The information on this post is inaccurate.
blame it on the fios magazine, they explicitly said march 25th.
I just got off the phone after taslking to 6 people being on hold for 45 minutes and I was told that it starts a midnight tonight so it actually starts on the 26th. We’ll see

nope, its after midnight, and still no showtime. even on showtimes main page it advertises it to begin on the 25th, so I dont know why these cheap bastards arent showing it. Doesnt make sense.
well only 6 of the channels work, NOT the full package. what are we supposed to do watch this piece of garbage “soul men”?
