Dish Network is going to be having a free preview of a few of the HBO channels from September 17 to September 20.
Check out the channel lineup below to see which of the free HBO channels Dish Network will be showing.
There’s also a free preview of HBO and Cinemax going on for Verizon FIOS and Cox on the same weekend.
Channel Lineup:
303 – HBO West (HD)
304 – HBO2 West
305 – HBO Family (HD)
If they’re going to do a free preview for HBO, they should do all HBO channels not just 3.
Anyway, I canceled HBO several months ago because they show very few movies and the movies they do show have already or will eventually air on Cinemax (which I kept). No point in paying double (actually HBO is more than other movie channel packages on Dish Network).
They certainly didn’t bring out the best programming for the free preview. This weekend I watched only 2 movies.
And thanks HBO for airing Boardwalk Empire 100 times, it reminded me exactly why I canceled your channels.
