Verizon FIOS is having a free preview of HBO and Cinemax this weekend, June 27-30. Sorry about the lateness of this, they didn’t announce this anywhere in advance.

Does the free HBO on Mediacom end early on Monday or late at night. They just promoted a show that’s on Monday night that I’d like to see but I’m never sure what the start/stop times are.

Why doesn’t Verizon let us know a week before they do a preview. It would be nice to know beforehand.

In my experience on Verizon FiOS previews end late at night on the day they’re advertised to end (or early the next morning).
I just stumbled on this because I have my DVR record the pilot episodes of new series and Leftovers was being recorded. It really irritates me that Verizon doesn’t send word out on this. I went to them about this and after getting the runaround, I was told these are announced in their Spotlight magazine. This one wasn’t. They seem to have no idea what they are doing over there.
These free weekends prove that there’s no reason to subscribe to these premium channels…
Verizon never publicizes their free previews. Need to keep an eye on this site to find out when they are.
