AT&T U-verse is having a free preview of their U450 package over Thanksgiving weekend, November 25-28.
Included in this free preview will be HD channels, sports channels, HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz, and On Demand channels. Sounds like a great free preview!

You should be able to record. Actually we have a free preview of hbo and cinemax right now on uverse so check your tv!
Looks like they started it early?
I’m only getting HBO & Cinemax free. When will Showtime, Starz, etc. be available for AT&T customers?
Yeah, they did start it early.
Though you will be able to record, as soon as the free preview goes away you will no longer be able to access the programs you recorded off of HBO for example, because you no longer are subscribed on the channel. Me and my wife tried it the last time they did a free preview like this..we recorded some shows and movies and when the free preview went away, the DVR copies would no longer play. :(
what time on the 25th?

This Free Preview Weekend of U450 that includes HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz, & more will be on December 14-21, 2011 this time.
I tried to record some upcoming movies on HBO and Starz, but it wont let me..says HBO wont allow recordings…this sucks! I can record upcoming on max and show..but why not HBO & starz? anyone else having this problem????
PS..I called an agt at at& t..u verse..he didnt really know why I couldnt record on those channels, suggested I try again tomorrow when the free preview starts..
