I happened to notice that FIOS had a Starz preview, LAST year on those dates… May 11-20, 2018. So, I suspect somehow something got a little confused in FIOSland.

That screenshot is advertising Sweetbitter which premiered last year on 5/6/2018 and ended 6/10/2018. Season 2 is supposed to start this summer, but no date yet. It seems unusual that they would be advertising that show in March 2019 for a preview in May when the new season of that show would not be premiering yet (unless it was planned to premiere in May). I don’t recall there being one, but it makes more sense that it was advertising a fee preview for 5/11/2018 through 5/20/2018 which starts on a Friday and ends on a Sunday (which most previews do) and they displayed an old advertisement by mistake.

PS I’ve been following up with Verizon on Twitter. They’ve said there is no Starz preview, so I’m puzzled why they would advertise it. They said there is a Showtime preview, but we’re not getting that one either. I’ll update again when I hear something.

I tried several times over the weekend to access both HBO and Cinemax and was unable to watch them. I will certainly try again for the last couple of days. The same too for Starz, but I’m glad that channel will have the premier going longer. Thanks.

I was skeptical of this one from the start; it was posted here almost two months before it was scheduled to start, and it was going to be free for 10 days, which is unusual.

Perhaps Earnest can clarify what was seen on the login page, as I never saw anything.

9:30 am in Central New Jersey and still no free preview. I don’t see anything about it on the Verizon website either. Starz On Demand isn’t free either. Looks like we aren’t going to get it after all, but I’ll check again later just in case….
