Debi: You may have to re-boot your DVR or your router. Try that first… it might clear up the reception. If not, you should call Verizon… maybe they can figure out the problem for you over the phone. I had to do that once because my On Demand channels were all scrambled, and the re-boot fixed it. Ok maybe that will work for you. Good Luck!

I’m in the Fort Worth TX area and we have the free preview but the reception is horrible. There are lines running across the screen and the sound will just disappear for several seconds. Not a good carrot to dangle to get you to sign up!

AnnJ: You are very welcome! Yeah Verizon usually waits until the last minute to tell you, but sometimes you can get a heads-up if you search periodically on the internet for free previews. Also, this website (FreePreview.TV) is a great source as well.

Thank you so much, Don. I’ve been clearing out space on the DVR. VZ stopped sending their magazine, which had these announcements. Now, when they do tell us, it’s sometimes not until the previews have been on for a day or two already, so we really appreciate you.

FT: Yes this is definitely happening. I don’t know if it is nationwide, but Verizon is running ads on TV for it in the NJ and PA area.
