There’s a free preview of HBO & Cinemax that’s going to be shown on a couple different providers from September 17 – September 20.
So far we know that the free preview of HBO & Cinemax will be seen on Verizon FIOS and some Cox Cable affiliates. Hopefully more providers will be added to this list so keep checking back!
Dish Network will be having a free preview of a few HBO channels during this time only.

Direct TV’s free preview GSN Game Lounge is a joke and a waste of time. You don’t get to try everything, just the basics like solitaire. And you’re limited to one game or about 30 minutes on others. I can see why I don’t want to pay an extra $5.00 per month for it.
Are there any Cox Communications subscribers elsewhere around the country, especially in Oklahoma, getting this free preview? Here in Oklahoma City, neither HBO or Cinemax seem to be shown.
Ok I just put HBO and Cinnamax on and it’s NOT Free this weekend! I’m a Cox subscriber in La!
No free HBO on Cox in Northern Virginia, either. So disappointed…

Cox Cable of Santa Barbara is showing HBO but not Cinemax.
