Mediacom in Ridgecrest CA is only providing the HBO and Showtime preview on their “on demand” channel on 2013-1-11 through 2013-1-14.
No previews using the regular channels for HBO and Showtime or previews of Starz or Cinemax.

With DirecTV, every movie channel I checked seems to be a part of the free preview. That includes TMC, Encore, Flix, Sundance, and more.

Comcast in the Bay Area is only offering Showtime via OnDemand; the Showtime channels are still locked. But that’s okay because all I really wanted was season 2 of “Homeland,” and that’s on OnDemand, yay!
January 11th, 2013 at 2:47 pm
Showtime and STARZ ARE NOT available for Cox in Orange County – only HBO and Cinemax. Bummer, because I wanted to watch Homeland!
January 11th, 2013 at 2:57 pm
Comcast’s On Demand announcement says that we can preview SHOWTIME and specifically enjoy TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN PT 1. However, this film isn’t included On Demand…and Comcast isn’t allowing previews of any SHOWTIME channel.

I have AT&T Uverse – Showtime doesn’t seem to be available yet and it’s past 3pm on jan 11 – anyone know what’s going on?

Cox in Las Vegas.
We are getting HBO and Cinemax, but no Starz and Showtime yet.
8:00 pm Friday.
January 11th, 2013 at 11:21 pm
Cox in Phoenix, AZ
Based on what I saw on their Facebook page, it looks like there will only be free HBO and Cinemax this weekend. There doesn’t seem to be any sort of promotion of free Showtime or Starz in Arizona for Cox subscribers.
January 11th, 2013 at 11:34 pm
We are not getting any of the free previews as advertised. Just another disappointing promise from U-verse
January 12th, 2013 at 1:57 am
It is Saturday morning 12:55am and Comcast in Western KY must not have the free weekend for Starz-because its not on:(
January 12th, 2013 at 7:52 am

January 12th, 2013 at 11:14 am

January 12th, 2013 at 4:01 pm

Only Showtime is free on Comcast and it’s just On Demand..all old. If you’re going to offer a free weekend, why can’t it be the channel? Very misleading. Also, no HBO, Starz (I have already) or Cinemax for Comcast.
January 12th, 2013 at 11:50 pm
Just more standard Mediacom BS. Nothing as advertised.
January 13th, 2013 at 8:37 am
Today and all weekend I’ve been able to get HBO and Cinnemax on my cable as a free preview, HOWEVER, I cannot get the starrz and showtime channels, but I can get the on demand. why is this?
January 13th, 2013 at 1:48 pm
DirecTV subscriber in ATL. Maybe all of the premium channels are only offered thru DirecTV only and by no other provider? I received all premium channel movies since it started. I might have to subscribe to Showtime Beyond. Definitely my favorite!
January 14th, 2013 at 1:08 pm
We have Comcast and they had their free preview under the OnDemand section under “Showtime Freeview”. I tried last nite to watch several dif ones and each one would link to BUY with info on how to subscribe to ShowTime and no free viewings at all.
