Now it’s just all the pay movie channels and VERY selected other channels such as Oxygen and Bio….not the majority of channels that comprise the package.

NE Ohio here….once again, all channels on the package EXCEPT for Fox News showed up for free preview. Even the regular (NON HLN) CNN showed up. Guess you have to pay big to get anything other than one version of events.

My original query to DirecTV was to ask them if the FOX Movie channel was going to be included in this free preview. They came back and said they had no knowledge of the preview, and never really answered my question. But since the preview was announced in their June email newsletter, then I am sure that the preview will indeed take place. The right hand is just not talking to the left in the DirecTV CSR call center.

No offense, but what would be the reason behind calling DTV to confirm this is going to happen or not? It doesn’t cost you anything, so if it happens, it happens. If not, who are you going to yell at: DirecTV? For what? Because “freepreview.tv” said it was going to happen?

Patience is a virtue. Just wait and see if it happens.

and under the big “Weed” box its says the above info…. so there is the confirmation all

can you confirm if this is really happening? I got an email alert from Directv a couple of weeks ago with this free preview mentioned. however, when I called them to confirm they said they had to record of this free preview. I’ll be away and need to set my dvr! thanks for any help
