Fullscreen is widescreen movies with a lot of the picture CUT OFF. Widescreen is more, not less.

Saw the preview advertised on TV last Thursday and could have sworn they said the preview was for all month, now there’s not even a channel 389, which is weird. I was liking the channel too and I can’t even find it on dish network’s website to find out if it’s moved to another channel and/or which package it’s in to order.
As for a review of the channel, I really liked it. Unlike all the other movie channels, they didn’t show the same movies 2 or 3 times in a day and had NO sports or series garbage. I saw more new movies on Epix in 4 days than I’ve seen on Cinemax in the last 3 months. I’d definitely consider ordering Epix, if I could figure out if dish network still carries the channel and if I could figure out which programming package it’s in.

In final summation, the Epix Preview did not meet expectations. The failure to put their best films out on preview was a poor decision. I would give this preview a letter grade of “c-”.

Not liking it. Not much different than the other channels like Action, Westerns, Drama… and the such. Just rehashed old movies over and over. The commercial shows NEW movies. Wasn’t new wasn’t worth the preview.

The programing so far has been very disappointing with lack luster films. The web site is not user friendly. MAJOR LET DOWN.

I have been watching the Epix preview and I am disappointed. They are showing films in “widescreen” and in “fullscreen”. I don’t like widescreen and you don’t know if the movie that is coming on will be wide or full screen. They have only showed “Raiders of the Lost Ark” on one day. I thought Epix was showing “Iron Man”, “Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull” and the new “Star Trek” films, but have not seen them listed. I am bummed, because I thought Epix was supposed to be pretty good. I think if your widescreen viewer it might appeal, what do all of you think?
